Start by doing some type of intense cardio work. You’ll never slim down your belly if you don’t get rid of the layer of fat on it. You need to do this through cardio exercise. The harder you work, the more calories you burn, so try to choose activities that are intense, such as jogging, swimming, or cycling. If you choose walking as your exercise, be sure that you are working hard at it. Your heart rate should increase.

If you’re not seeing the results you want from regular cardio exercise, try out high intensity interval training. These types of workouts are shorter, but they work your body harder.
